In 1991 ten work-groups were established by the Church Meeting. Their terms of reference were revised in 2002 and some were merged bringing their number to seven. Their brief  is to provide leadership on various aspects of church life. Each work-group has a Communication Chairperson and Secretary to guide its deliberations.

Worship and Music

The group reviews the church’s pattern of worship, and shares in preparing services by providing material and organising people to lead the church’s worship. It is also responsible for the rota of organists and precentors.

Buildings

The group oversees church property, ensuring that it is kept in good - and safe - order. It reports to the Deacons and the Church Meeting as to any necessary repairs, etc. It is also responsible for ensuring that the church complies with health and safety regulations and provides facilities for the disabled.
